Together with our food scientists we have developed an Energy and Process Scan. With predictive modelling we are able to identify the opportunities for (substantial) cost savings. In our pilot plant, hypotheses can be validated.

Some cases:

• We have proven that our validated modelling tools for fouling reductions (incl. biofouling) have led to impressive reductions through extension of run times and diminishing product and energy losses.
• Reductions of product loss of more than 25% have achieved and 10-20% cost reduction on effluent treatment.
• Spray dryer optimization, our knowledge in product stickiness behaviour and powder analysis on stickiness and sorption is key when it comes to changing parameters. General savings between 5 and 15% are no exception.
• Spray dryer moisture control, we have advised customers where up to 350 k€/yr additional revenue could be realized.
